The GSD22 is a dual frequency, 1 kW/500W rms (dependent on transducer), direct sampling, Garmin Marine Network enabled, black box sounder. The unit will also have serial connectivity for Garmin non-network chartplotters. The exciting additions are a new direct sampling analog to digital sonar receiver that will provide exceptional target separation because of dynamic filter adjustments, better rejection of other fishfinder cross talk, an increased transmit ping rate, and a new transmitter capable of 1kW.
